ZACHARY RUSSELL is an actor, director, and clown born in Missouri, raised in Michigan, and currently pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in Acting at the University of Connecticut. He holds his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with a minor in Event Management from Western Michigan University and is currently based in the New England area.

As an artist, Zachary is passionate about serving, healing, and transforming the world through his work. He leads with joy, playfulness, and presence to make people feel in a world that conditions us to be apathetic. Zachary is a dynamic and versatile performer who is not afraid to make a fool of himself! He seeks to tell stories of our shared humanity, uplift queer and marginalized voices, and become a leader in an ever-changing entertainment industry to ultimately keep this art form alive for future generations.

Recently, Zachary finished up his second summer with Capital Classics Theatre Company in their productions of Measure for Measure and A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival. Stay tuned for information on what he’s doing next!
